Cortisone reduces swelling, it doesn't break up calcium.

I have had shoulder pain for the past 2 years, its has been getting worse the past month. I tried Cortisone once last year and it helped for 1 week then the pain came back.

2 weeks ago I received 2 injections and the pain went away, but this time I tried doing some
simple shoulder excercises and have been doing it for the past week. The other day I woke up and could not move my arm past 45%. Today my shoulder never felt better.

I was wondering it the excersise and injection could have broken up the calcium built up in my shoulder and that was why it was frozen for 2 days , don't have a clue what happen. Any Ideas?
