While working out in February, I seemed to begin to have some front shoulder pain. One morning, it was very painful and I knew something was very wrong. I stopped working out, started icing a lot, got massage therapy, and received a cortisone injection 3 weeks ago after being diagnosed with bicept tendonitis. The injection did not do much for me, and I got an mri which came back normal. My doctor said I might have fibromayalgia, but I highly doubt that since I have very isolated pain when I do specific movements. Lately, I've tried to start doing some light working out, and whenever I do any type of pull-down workout where I am pulling weight from over my head down under my chin, there is a quite sharp pain in the upper front of my shoulder where I believe the deltoid is, also right around where I received the injection. I know there is something wrong there, but I dont know what. my doc (shoulder physiatrist) seems to not know at all, so im getting desperate at this point.
