Shoulder pain after bicycle fall
In November 2000 I fell while riding my bicycle, hit my elbow which jammed my left shoulder. I didn't notice the pain in my shoulder until several days later, at which time I reduced activities which involved any weight or pressure on the shoulder, such as lifting weights (light) or any heavy object.
After two months of pain in the left shoulder along the back side, I went to a physical therapists doctor who, after testing my shoulder, said I didn't appear to have any major damage and that therapy wasn't necessary but would probably speed up healing. I elected to just avoid heavy usage and let time heal it. Well, now 8 months later I still have an ache in the back part of my left shoulder which increases noticably after lifting anything.
Is there anything I should do to now to increase probability of shoulder completely healing?
